In February of this year Decorative Panels Lamination returned to exhibit at ZOW in Germany with a stand that focussed on our ‘specialist surfaceS'.

The products we chose to display included an extensive high gloss offer alongside in-house produced dp-lite hollowcore board solutions. Large samples were displayed to view products on a ‘look and feel’ basis.

Attracting particular interest were some new developments within our Senoplast product offer. Firstly, we are pleased to introduce a new “hardcote” system, called Senoplast TopX. The resilience of this product is fantastic, even after rubbing with wire wool it still does not scratch, as we continually demonstrated at the show, making it ideal for horizontal surfaces. Secondly, Senoplast have now developed a 0.5mm acrylic product which gives very nearly the same surface finish as the traditional 0.9mm product but which can be offered as a more economical alternative. Both these exciting new products are coming into stock at dp-lamination.

Additionally we exhibited the latest trend developments with the main focus being on attractive ‘super matt’ vinyl finishes.

Products displayed formed only part of the ever increasing ‘specialist surfaces’ that dp-lamination offers which includes high gloss acrylic senoplast unicolour designs, a selection of high gloss PVC unicolour designs, high gloss PET woodgrains, a range of PET high scratch resistant papers, matt paint effect PVC designs and 0.3mm thin laminates.

The feedback both at and following ZOW has been extremely positive offering exciting prospects for dp-lamination both at home and abroad. Sales Director Stephen Cadwell commented “...we were amazed at the amount of interest in our products and as well as increasing our UK exposure we were delighted to be able to interest a number of potential continental clients.”
