The Decorative Panels Group have always been innovators in the latest materials and technologies and 2017 will see this tradition continue with the launch of the new dp-limitless range by Decorative Panels Lamination.

Commissioning of the brand new laminating line is well underway within dp-lamination’s 140,000ft² manufacturing facility which is located in Elland, West Yorkshire, with the first trial material already been laminated.

The laminator will utilise a high bond strength PUR glue line which will ensure a superb overall finish on sheet sizes up to 3660 x 1430mm, (although 2440mm x 1220mm and 3050mm x 1220mm will make up the majority of the offer) in quantities from one sheet upwards.

The range of surface finishes currently available from Decorative Panels Lamination under the banners of dp-decor and dp-specialist is already one of the largest and most diverse in the UK. Comprising over 100 woodgrain and solid colour designs within dp-decor and exceeding 200 surfaces designs within dp-specialist including; high gloss and matt acrylics, PVCs and PPs, it could be argued that Decorative Panels already have all the bases covered – so why launch dp-limitless?

Group Managing Director Guy Metcalfe takes up the story “…dp-limitless is a logical extension of our offer and one that we have been researching for some time now. Decorative Panels Lamination has always been known as a business that offers a wide range of products on very quick lead times to a very wide market place. We have been innovators in terms of substrate as well as surface materials, being the first people in the UK to offer a sheet light weight hollowcore board solution and surface finishes such as BioCote Quartz, the first commercially available anti-microbial sheet material. We wanted to continue this innovative approach and address an area of the market that we had never been near before – that is the manufacture and supply of a range of specialised decorative and high performance products available without commitment to bulk quantities and deliverable from single sheets up to full load quantities – from stock.

It is our intention to offer exactly what the brand says, a limitless offer of surface finishes bonded to the substrate of choice, available in quantities as low as one sheet. We will of course have some products that will form a core range within the dp-limitless offer including; High Pressure Laminates from two of the worlds most recognised producers, the full range of  Senoplast Acrylics, 2mm Senoplast Acrylglass, Real Stone Veneer,  Faux Leather, Wood Veneer, Technical surfaces, and of course, one off, one of a kind surfaces.
