Expanding the potential of furniture design.

Decorative Panels Furniture Ltd has recently purchased a Vitap Eclipse semi-automatic shaped edgbander from RW Machines. Complete with integral glue pot and trimming station, the Eclipse allows a single operator to effortlessly manoeuver large shaped panels from station to station with the aid of a movable vacuum table. 

The machine is capable of  edging panels of thickness 10-45mm using a 1-3mm tape. As an example, one of its key tasks now is to edge the curved area of L-shaped office desk panels which it performs superbly.

From starting off with a project to tackle improvements to board stock managment, we have ended up with an even more capable and efficient furniture factory - expanding the potential of furniture design.
