Whilst many of you will know about the Decorative Panels Group for those of you that don’t here is a brief resume of our history and activities.

The Decorative Panels Group has history stretching back over 100 years, in which time we have evolved from a local cabinet maker and coffin manufacturer into a group that has a total production space of some  600,000ft² directly employing over 350 people. With group turnover today approaching £100 million the business remains family owned and run on a day to day basis.

Today we operate as three totally autonomous and yet vertically integrated businesses; Decorative Panels Lamination Ltd, Decorative Panels Components Ltd and Decorative Panels Furniture Ltd.

As pioneers in the lamination of decorative paper foils to wood based panel substrates in the 1970s, we have maintained our position as the leading paper foil laminator in the UK and Europe. Decorative Panels Lamination operates out of a 140,000ft2 factory in the industrial heart of West Yorkshire. We continuously invest in the latest technologies which enables us to produce over 300,000m2 of the highest quality laminated products every week.

Decorative Panels Components produces a diverse range of cut, edged, shaped and drilled panels. High volume production of kitchen and bedroom carcase packs and fascias is bolstered with bespoke manufacture of a variety of complimentary products. Our brand new state of the art 175,000ft2 components factory, also based in Elland, has the capacity to produce over 500,000 panels per week, with a choice of bulk palletised or fully packaged options. Decorative Panels Furniture was a new acquisition for us in the spring of 2009. Operating from a manufacturing and distribution site of some 270,000ft2 in the North of England, dp-furniture has a production capacity of over 15,000 boxes per day. We offer expertise in flat pack bedroom, living, home office, kitchen and occasional furniture and can provide a wide variety of packaging options to suit your needs.
