Chancellor George Osborne visited Decorative Panels Components’ new site in Elland on the 6th August.
The Chancellor praised the work done by the Decorative Panels Group saying “I was delighted to be invited to visit the business. These businesses are succeeding, expanding and trading around the world, which is something to be proud of.”
Following the factory tours, the Chancellor joined an invited audience of business leaders and Conservative Party co-chairman Baroness Warsi for lunch at Decorative Panels Head Office before taking part in a manufacturing-led Q&A with 75 business guests.
Metallic surfaces continue to grow in popularity, bringing depth, light and a refined, contemporary feel to furniture and interior design. From subtle shimmer to bold brushed textures, these finishes suit everything from bespoke projects to high-volume production.
