We have 3 generations of the Cox Family working at Decorative Panels Furniture

Tony, 64, is dpf Packing Manager and has been involved with the Teesside operation for 24 years since its inception in 1988. Tony is responsible for overseeing dpf’s 4 packing lines to ensure 50,000 boxes of flat pack furniture per week are packed to specification.

Tony’s son Simon, 42, is dpf Product Design and Development Supervisor and has continuous service in such a role of 21 years. Simon is responsible for the initial prototyping of new products for selection and photography by dpf customers and for accurate technical information.

Joe, Simon’s son, 20, currently works on Factory 2 packing line, looking after the final offloading of sealed cartons, palletising and labelling prior to despatch. Joe, the apple of Simon’s eye, has been with dpf for 2 years.

Prior to the acquisition of dpf in 2009, Barbara, Tony’s wife can also claim 20 years service, so in total the family has a past and current total of 67 years combined service!
