on Rachel Smith!

Group Receptionist

Rachel is our Group Receptionist and is one of the newest members of our team. She began working for the company in July 2022 and is now very much ‘part of the furniture’! Although she has only been with us for a relatively short amount of time, she is already a much-loved member of the team and plays an important role in the day to day running of the business.  Whenever you call us, it will be Rachel’s friendly voice who greets you over the phone.

Rachel spends a lot of her spare time going on long country walks with her dog, Frankie, which usually involves a last stop at the local pub for a few drinks at the weekend...well, Frankie needs a rest so it would be rude not too! Shopping is also another activity that Rachel looks forward to and enjoys going to Meadowhall, Leeds or Manchester and having lunch out with her family and friends.? Exercise is one of her loves and she spends an evening a week going to Zumba or at her recently joined Yoga class.?

We asked Rachel to complete the sentence… “I love” and we couldn’t agree with her answer more.  “I love going on holiday and relaxing!” What could be better! Rachel already has two holidays booked for the year ahead, first a trip to Gran Canaria in April and then to Tenerife in September.

When it comes to motivation in the workplace, Rachel is motived to ensure everything runs smoothly, to be kind, friendly and helpful to everyone who she speaks to, whether it be on the telephone or face to face in the office.?We always ask, ‘what job did you see yourself doing?’ and for Rachel, she always wanted to be a hairdresser but as she got older, she decided to go into office work where she began as an Office Junior working her way up to a Managers Secretary before leaving to bring up her two children who are now nearly 23 and 20. Thank goodness she decided against hairdressing or she would have come to join our team!
