Laura has been part of the Decorative Panels' family for over 20 years now! First joining as an Edgebander Operator, Laura has worked her way up to Edgebanding Section Leader and more recently, with over 20 years of experience to her name, our Group Technical Supervisor. A prime example of how excellent employee performance is recognised and rewarded here at The Decorative Panels Group.

Group Finance Manager

Sarah began her career with Decorative Panels back in September 2003. Originally joining as a Receptionist, Sarah has engaged herself in various roles across Accounts, Sales and Finance. Now with over 13 years’ experience working as our Group Finance Manager, Sarah has attained various achievements to further enhance her academia to become a “proud fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.”

Julian joined the Decorative Panels team in November 2000 as our Design Director. Amazingly, he actually remembers that it was our previous receptionist, Christine Gawthorpe’s birthday on the day he started, so it would have been the 13th of November.

Jeremy Harrison has worked for our Lamination business for over 26 years, during which time his role within our sales team has remained the same - managing accounts and seeking out new business opportunities for the company.

Kevin has been with the dp-group for around 8 years now, originally working for our dp-furniture factory in Teesside. He now works at dp-components in Elland after marrying his wife who is from the local area.

Group Receptionist

Rachel is our Group Receptionist and is one of the newest members of our team. She began working for the company in July 2022 and is now very much ‘part of the furniture’! Although she has only been with us for a relatively short amount of time, she is already a much-loved member of the team and plays an important role in the day to day running of the business. Whenever you call us, it will be Rachel’s friendly voice who greets you over the phone.

Janet McDougall's start at The Decorative Panels Group began slightly differently to most peoples. Not everyone is aware of this, but the Group purchased a company previously called RTA in 2009 after they went into administration and the company then became Decorative Panels Furniture. Janet had worked for RTA since 1990 which gives her a staggering 29 years at our company so far!

Heidi began her career at Decorative Panels 11 years ago in 2011 when she was just 19 years old. Before joining, she enjoyed having a weekend job in a café in the little village of Marsden whilst still studying at college. Since starting at dp a lot has changed for Heidi, both in her job role and personal life.

Ian has been a part of the Decorative Panels Team since 2009 when the company bought RTA Furniture and created Decorative Panels Furniture. Ian had worked for RTA since 1988 when he was just 23 years old, at this time he worked on the packing line. A combined service of 34 years, now that is commitment!
